Vivian Turner
World War II
During WWII, Vivian Turner worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" in support of the war effort. While her husband was overseas, she worked for Douglas Aircraft in a factory in California. She said she was hired because she was small enough to fit inside the wings of the aircraft being built.Back to Stories
